The project began with a competitive analysis of major marketplace apps to identify usability gaps around navigation, messaging, and listing creation. I designed clear user flows for browsing, viewing an item, messaging a seller, and managing posts. Lo-fi wireframes helped test layout efficiency early, leading to refined high-fidelity screens with clean spacing, strong hierarchy, and accessible tap targets. A small design system was built to maintain consistency across iOS screens. Users needed a simple, intuitive platform to easily list items, browse deals, and message sellers without the clutter that many marketplace apps have. MarketLink aimed to streamline the buying and selling process for faster, smoother transactions.
