StyleSync is a virtual closet and social fashion app that lets users

-Engage with a community of style minded creators
By combining wardrobe organization, shopping, and social interaction in one place, StyleSync helps users easily plan outfits, discover new looks, and share their personal style with others. The goal of this project was to create a simple, intuitive platform that helps users manage their wardrobe, find outfit inspiration, and engage with a fashion-focused community. I also experimented with another creative direction besides the original.
The Problem
Users struggle to keep track of their wardrobe, find outfit inspiration, and discover new fashion items in one unified place. StyleSync aimed to solve this by combining a virtual closet, shopping, and social interaction.
Summary Of My Approach
The core problem users faced was difficulty organizing and visualizing their wardrobe digitally. I solved this by designing a clean “Virtual Closet” structure with easy uploading, categorization, and outfit previews. I also introduced social features like a fashion feed and user interactions to enhance engagement. My impact came from creating intuitive flows that made adding items effortless and allowed users to explore outfits without feeling overwhelmed.
The Process
I conducted user interviews to understand how people currently manage outfits and what inspires their fashion choices. Insights shaped the core flows:
-Uploading wardrobe items
-Browsing a personalized feed
-Engaging with other users.
I explored two creative directions to establish the brand identity, then built a clean, minimal interface for uploading items, viewing outfits, and navigating the feed. Wireframes focused on easy categorization and quick visual scanning.
The Result
Users appreciated having their wardrobe and inspiration in one app. I learned how important visual hierarchy is for fashion-heavy apps, ensuring imagery stays the focus while the UI remains subtle.
