Wellmingo

User Research & Journey Mapping
Project Overview
Wellmigo is a supportive wellness app designed to help people build healthier habits through
‍
-Personalized plans
-Guided activities
-Reminders
-Simple progress tracking

Focused on flexibility and encouragement, Wellmigo removes common barriers like time and motivation so users can integrate wellness into their daily lives at their own pace. The goal of this project was to develop three distinct user personas and map a complete user journey to understand how Wellmigo can better support users in building sustainable wellness habits.

The Problem

Users wanted an easier way to build healthy habits, stay consistent, and visualize their progress. Wellmigo needed clear user personas and journey maps to shape meaningful features.

Summary Of My Approach

Users trying to build habits often struggle with time, motivation, and staying consistent. Through research, I identified these as key pain points and created three personas that represented realistic challenges and behaviors. I then mapped their emotional highs and lows throughout the wellness journey. My impact was shaping clear product opportunities like reminders, gentle motivation, and flexible plans that directly addressed the emotional barriers users face.

The Process

I conducted interviews to learn how different users approach
‍
-Wellness
-Motivation
-Habit tracking

After synthesizing the data, I created personas representing common behaviors and challenges, then mapped their emotional journeys through a typical day of habit use. These insights clarified when users felt motivated, overwhelmed, or unsupported. The journey maps directly influenced recommendations for progress visualization, reminders, and tailored habit suggestions.

The Result

This project deepened my ability to extract patterns from interviews and translate them into realistic personas. I learned how critical emotional mapping is when designing for motivation and long-term engagement. With the user journey map I was able to give Wellmingo ideas and oppurtunities to enhance their website and help support users more.

Minimalistic To-Do App

Productivity App With Deleted Items Folder
Project Overview
This project focuses on designing a clean, modern to-do app that stays competitive in an oversaturated productivity market. Through
‍
-Market research
-Ideation
-WSJF prioritization

the goal was to identify and integrate one standout feature that provides real user value. The project involved creating end to end user flows, lo-fi and hi-fi prototypes, and multiple testing rounds to refine a simple, intuitive task-management experience.

The Problem

Users needed a simple task manager that reduced clutter but still let them recover deleted tasks and lists something many minimalistic apps don’t offer.

Summary Of My Approach

Existing to-do apps felt cluttered or overly complex. Through competitive research, I discovered that users often regretted deleting tasks accidentally, so I introduced a “Deleted Tasks Folder” as the unique feature. I used WSJF to prioritize features and created a minimal layout that supports fast task creation, sorting, and recovery. My impact was designing flows that reduced friction and gave users more control over their task history.

The Process

I analyzed top to-do apps and mapped out their common friction points, especially around organization and task recovery. I designed clean, low cognitive-load screens with

-Clear grouping
-Priority indicators
-Deleted items section

Prototyping focused on fast task creation and intuitive gestures. Iteration after usability testing improved labeling and strengthened visual hierarchy.

The Result

Users described the layout as “clean and easy to follow,” and testing confirmed that recovering deleted items felt effortless. I learned that even minimal interfaces benefit from subtle cues that guide the eye.

Nazaré Mavericks Surf School

Streamlined Booking Experience for New & Returning Surfers
Project Overview
For this project, the goal was to design clear and intuitive user flows that guide visitors from discovering the surf school to successfully booking a lesson. By analyzing the customer journey and reducing friction points, the design focuses on helping users quickly find

-Class options
-Understand offerings
-Complete their booking with confidence

Creating a smoother and more enjoyable digital experience for this Portuguese surf school.

The Problem

The existing lesson booking process felt confusing and required too many steps. Users struggled to locate prices, choose the right class, and move smoothly to checkout.

Summary Of My Approach

User interviews revealed people struggled to understand class types, availability, and next steps when booking lessons online. I created improved user flows that clarified the entire journey from exploration to checkout reducing confusion and decision fatigue. My impact included reorganizing information architecture, simplifying navigation, and ensuring the booking process required fewer clicks.

The Process

I started by analyzing competitor surf school websites to identify clearer booking patterns. From there, I created streamlined user flows showing how visitors progress from the
-Homepage
-Class selection
-Schedule review
-Payment
‍
I refined these flows into
-User Journey
Information Architecture
-User Flow
-Product Map
‍
This helped Nazaré Mavericks understand how to keep users engaged on their website and make it all the way through the booking process.

The Result

The new flow eliminated confusion around selecting lessons and improved task completion. It reinforced how critical clarity is when guiding users through multi step decisions like booking.
